Credit Requirements (24 total) o English: 4 Credits o Math: 3 Credits (at the Algebra 1 level and higher) o Science: 3 Credits (scientific inquiry, 2 with lab experiences) o Social Science: 3 Credits o Health: 1 Credit o P.E.: 1 Credit o Second Language/Art/Career & Technical Education: 3 Credits o Electives: 6 Credits (.5 must be career related, senior project) · Extended Application: You have to complete your senior project · Essential Skills: Pass the SBAC Reading, Writing, and Math Test (Students who are looking to receive an honors diploma or receive Valedictorian or Salutatorian honors will need to check with their High School counselors freshman year to make sure they are taking the correct course to earn these honors.) |

During the 2017-2018 school year we will be using a Social-Emotional Learning program called Second Steps. This curriculum may be familiar for many students because it is widely used in the elementary schools. This program helps students explore goals, mindsets, values, friendships, thoughts, emotions, decisions, and how to navigate peer conflict. |
