Is a system designed to support the career developmental needs of Oregonians.
The mission of CIS is to:
Their vision is Quality Information for a Lifetime.
Feel free to visit their website to help your child explore career options, discover what interests them, build a portfolio that they will take with them to high school.
These portfolio's will help your child with their next steps after high school, whether that be a four year college, two year college, trade school, internships, or the work force.
During the 2017-2018 school year we will be using a Social-Emotional Learning program called Second Steps. This curriculum may be familiar for many students because it is widely used in the elementary schools. This program helps students explore goals, mindsets, values, friendships, thoughts, emotions, decisions, and how to navigate peer conflict.
